I can do it...

You know, I had a little bit of anxiety about doing the Ironman 70.3. I committed myself to it pretty abruptly. But I said to myself, "if you don't just do it, you never will". But recently I realized this: I won't win it. It's at MY pace. And if other people with less at their disposal can do it, why can't I? I need to enjoy it, and not worry so much about how high tech my bike is, or how fast will I complete it in, or do I have all the best equipment.

  1. Brian, I am so very proud of you for taking on this endeavor, it is hard enough for the average person to complete just a sprint distance race let alone a 70.3. With everything that we have been through over the years I know that you can accomplish this half ironman. I am going to Colorado Springs this month to become a USAT certified coach and I still work full time in the bike shop here if you need any help or advise on training and racing. Good luck buddy, I look forward to tracking your progress through this blog. Love you guys!

P.S. I took that Babylon pic.
P.P.S No way you could fill a coffee can!
